Artventurous in February at the Las Cruces Museum of Art

Join us at the Las Cruces Museum of Art, 491 N. Main St., from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the connector between the Museum of Art and the Museum of Nature & Science for a hands-on arts and crafts experience for the whole family! Each month features a different art appreciation theme and a different subject each week. February’s theme is “Fauvism.”

February’s subjects include:

February 1:     Henri Matisse.
February 8:     Andre Derain.

February 15:   Georges Braque.
February 22:   Robert Antoine Pinchon.
February 29:   Maurice de Vlaminck.

The Museum of Art is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday. It is accessible on RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 36.
