ASCMV Update in Operations

April 10, 2020 Carlos Arreola

In an effort to follow the social distancing guidelines set out by Governor Lujan-Grisham and extended until April 30, the ASCMV will be open for appointments only from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

  • Citizens may call for an appointment between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Appointments will be from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Appointments will be 30 minutes long.
  • Prior to arrival, citizens interested in adopting must have pre-selected  the animal from our website. https://ascmv.org/adoptions/

Missing pet tours will be suspended, but there are options:

  • Citizens looking for a missing pet must find their animal on our website prior to coming to the center. https://ascmv.org/lost-found-information/
  • Citizens that “walk-up” with no appointment but have positively identified their pet will be helped with no appointment.

City of Las Cruces news releases are available on the home page of the City website at las-cruces.org under News & Announcements and can be translated into Spanish and multiple other languages using the Select Language feature on the lower right side of the page.
