COOKING WITH THE FAMILY IS GOOD THERAPY

The year 2020 will be remembered for the coronavirus, but our memories of 2020 will be made around the table as the meal is such a primal element of family unity. The calm of the family meal is something children depend on and adults seek out. The days of isolation offer a vessel in which to create new experiences by building on familiarity while establishing new patterns of experimentation. Cooking together as a family is one of the ways we achieve that at our house.

After watching a cooking competition, we challenged each family member to come up with their favorite Italian dishes, then find an ingredient or cooking method they had never used before to elevate them. Now we’re sharing our creations with you!
