Lee Brice, Chase Bryant, and Chevel Shepherd – Sunday, June 23
Three of country music’s hottest artists are coming together to bring a night of raucous fun to the Inn of the Mountain Gods outdoor stage. Brice first stepped onto the music scene over a decade ago as a songwriter for some of the biggest names in country music such as Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks and Keith Gattis. After experiencing massive success with his pen on Brooks’ single “More Than a Memory,” Brice released his debut single “She Ain’t Right,” which peaked at No. 29 on the country charts. Since his debut single, Brice has had four No. 1 songs and broke a 62-year-old record for the longest run on the country charts with “Love Like Crazy.”
For Chase Bryant, country music was his birthright. His grandfather Jimmy Bryant was longtime guitarist for Roy Orbison and performed with Waylon Jennings. At the age of 21, Bryant released his first single, “Take It On Back,” which landed a spot in the Top 10 on the country airplay charts. His second single “Little Bit of You” followed in the footsteps of his first single and climbed to No. 4 on the country airplay charts. With his rock and roll influence and smooth vocals, Bryant is widely considered one of the hottest up and comers on the country music scene.
New Mexico native, 17-year-old Chevel Shepherd, won the 2018 American talent competition The Voice with her charming country voice and yodeling. Her musical taste includes classic country singers such as Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Tanya Tucker. Shepherd covered Loretta Lynn’s “You’re Lookin’ at Country and LeAnn Rimes’ “Blue” while on The Voice. She is currently working on an album and performed “God Bless America” before the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 with coach Kelly Clarkson. Tickets for Brice, Bryant, and Shepherd’s June 23 performance start at $45.
