From the Ground Up XXIX Regional Juried Ceramics Exhibition opens at the Museum of Art

Join us Friday, August 2, through Saturday, October 19, forFrom the Ground Up XXIX, a biennial juried ceramics show, co-hosted by the Potters’ Guild of Las Cruces. This show features 38 regional artists, including Jan Archey, Vincent Burke, and Suzanne Kane.

Enjoy the exhibit’s opening reception on Friday August 9. The juror for this year’s show, Naomi Clement, will provide a lecture about ceramic arts from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Shannon gallery at the Branigan cultural Center, and the awards ceremony will follow from 6-7 p.m. at the Museum of Art.

The museum is located at 491 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.For the 2019 summer months, the museum is open until 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
