Las Cruces, NM—Local Dentist Marianne Day is again creating great smiles and helping the children of Jardin de los Niños at the same time. Day is a Crown Council member—an alliance of leading-edge dental teams committed to charitable work. March through June, Day and her staff will professionally whiten teeth to raise money for Jardin de los Niños. Day is working via the Smiles for Life Charity to bring whiter smiles to members of the community, and to help homeless and near homeless children and their families. The Smiles for Life Foundation is the children’s charity arm of the Crown Council. Ultradent (makers of Boost in-office teeth whitening and Opalescence® take-home trays) donates ALL of the teeth whitening supplies, Day and her staff donate ALL of their time to whiten teeth during the Smiles for Life campaign. Together, they offer professional teeth whitening services at substantially reduced prices. What’s great about this project is as individuals receive teeth whitening treatment, at a low
er cost, their payment goes straight to Smiles for Life. Smiles for Life then distributes half of the proceeds to Jardin de los Niños. The other half of the proceeds is given to national and international children’s organizations.
“We are truly grateful for Dr. Day’s stepping up to support our kids,” says Jardin Executive Director Audrey Hartley. “With teeth whitening becoming increasingly popular, this is a great way for people to pamper themselves a bit, while helping our kids. Who knew that dentistry would become so painless?”
Participation in the campaign is simple. Simply call Dr. Day’s office at 575-523-5589 to make an appointment. She and her staff will take care of all of the details.
