Thursday, July 25
The new Music on the Downtown Plaza series will return at 8 p.m. Thursday with a night of Americana, bluegrass and storytelling with Fayetteville, Arkansas’ Trout Fishing in America and Las Cruces’ own Steve Smith & Hard Road on Plaza de Las Cruces.

Thursday’s live music includes music in the courtyard with Dan Lambert at La Posta de Mesilla (6 to 9 p.m.); and blues with Catfishfry at High Desert Brewing Co. (8 to 11 p.m.)
Friday, July 26
Friday’s live music schedule includes live music in the courtyard with Alison Reynolds at La Posta de Mesilla (6 to 9 p.m.); CW Ayon at Amaro Winery (7-10 p.m.); Fastlane at The Game and Rosewater Blues at The Game II (7 to 11 p.m.); Chris Baker Band with Jessie Springer at Pecan Grill & Brewery (8 p.m.); Nicole Osborn at Vintage Wines (8 to 10 p.m.); and Smokin’ Blue Band at Little Toad Creek (8 to 11 p.m.).
Saturday, July 27
Kalorie Karbdashian-Williams — from VH1’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 10 — will bring a drag show to the new Club 30 @ The Ramada at 11 p.m. Saturday.
The show will feature performances by locals alongside queens from El Paso, Hobbs and Albuquerque, Kalorie’s current home city.

The City of Las Cruces’ Summer Movies in the Park series continues with a screening of “Avengers: Infinity War” at dusk — around 7:30 p.m. — Saturday at Young Park. The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. The series continues with free, family-friendly movies each week; call 541-2550 for more.
Saturday’s live music schedule includes music in the courtyard with Alan Kuncel at La Posta de Mesilla (6 to 9 p.m.); Sage Gentle-Wing at The Game and Soulshine at The Game II (7 to 11 p.m.); Coolside Collective at Vintage Wines (8 to 10 p.m.); and folk/country with Albuquerque’s Ryan and The Resisters at High Desert Brewing Co. (8 to 11 p.m.).
Sunday, July 28
The City of Las Cruces’ Music in the Park series continues with rock from Triple Jack and country, folk and Americana with Tanner Huston at 7 p.m. Sunday at Young Park. Free and family-friendly, Music in the Park continues on Sunday evenings all summer long — call 541-2550 for more.
Sunday’s live music schedule includes Ricky Allnight at Vintage Wines (3:30 to 5:30 p.m.); and Marji Messer at Little Toad Creek (5 to 7 p.m.).
Next Week: Aug. 1-4
Next week, the Gilbert & Sullivan Company of El Paso will bring “The Pirates of Penzance” to the Black Box Theatre; and downtown and Mesquite District galleries debut new exhibits during the First Friday Downtown Art Ramble.
