This NMDA event gets bigger and better every year. Artists of Picacho Hills is holding their 7th annual Holly Day House, featuring the work of 20 different artists. Artwork on display and for sale will include jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photographs, carved gourds, and fiber art. Or buy a treasure chest raffle ticket for a chance to win one of 24 “treasures” donated by local artists. Proceeds will be donated to Mesilla Valley Hospice. Ring in the New Year with an evening of celebration on Downtown Main Street’s newly finished Civic Plaza with food and live music. The highlight of the evening is, of course, the lowering of the 2,300 pound chile lit up with 400 LED light bulbs at midnight.

Get in the holiday spirit by strolling through one of the largest luminaria displays in New Mexico. While the ice rink is still up in the air for 2016, expect plenty of festive fun with crafts, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a photo booth.
