Rio Grande Theatre Events Cancelled or Postponed Through April

March 14, 2020 Carlos Arreola

Following guidance from Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and the New Mexico Department of Health, the City of Las Cruces has cancelled or postponed events at the Rio Grande Theatre through the month of April.

The governor on Wednesday issued a public health emergency to maximize the resources available to the state to fight the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus and minimize public health risks for New Mexicans. As part of this announcement, the governor and Department of Health directed state government and advised local governments across New Mexico to cancel events with large crowds through at least the end of April.
