Summer Camp After Hours at the Museum of Nature & Science

June 14, 2019 Carlos Arreola

Build a bridge between childhood memories and being an adult as the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St., presents “Summer Camp After Hours – Bridge the Gap,” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 21, 2019. The program is free to museum visitors 18-years old and older.

Do you miss your summer camp days? Come to the museum for this 18-and-older event where visitors can relive their childhood science camp dreams. Visitors can bring friends and design, build, and test a straw bridge. Based on our “Bridging the Gap” youth summer camp, grownups will have a chance to relax and have some fun at the museum.  All materials will be provided.

The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with extended summer hours on Wednesdays until 8 p.m., from June through August. The museum is also open from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. For information, visit the City’s Museum System website or call 575/522-3120.
