Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department, New Mexico State University, and the New Mexico Department of Health are partnering to offer the class Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance. This is an evidence-based fall prevention exercise program for older adults and is widely accepted as a balance training program.

Classes will be  from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning August 20, 2019 in the auditorium at Frank O’Brien Papen Center, 304 W Bell Ave. Classes will be ongoing. There is no cost to attend.

No telephone registrations will be accepted. For information, call the NMSU College of Education at 575/646-5858.
