The monthly First Friday Downtown Art Ramble, held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, will feature new shows and exhibitions at nearly 30 art galleries, shops and businesses throughout Downtown Las Cruces and the historic Mesquite District, along with live music and entertainment, refreshments, shuttle service and more. Saturday, Jan. 5
Families can Discover Camp Robledo at Leasburg Dam State Park at 10 a.m. Saturday. Join a ranger-led hike of the beautiful Camp Robledo restoration area and experience both the classic Chihuahuan Desert uplands and the riverine, riparian environments along the Rio Grande. Experience an environment most similar to what the Spanish explorers of more than 300 years ago witnessed. See and feel the rare and unique geothermal springs and the aquatic

Kids of all ages are invited to Crafts for Kids — Wishing Wand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. Kids will craft a wishing wand
that contains their New Year’s resolutions. Crafts for Kids is free with regular admission of $5
