Bob Talamini (offensive guard)has a Superbowl ring from the Jets game in 1969 (1968 season), a championship ring from the first AFL championship game in 1960 while playing with the Houston Oilers and a Kentucky pro football hall of fame ring.
Charley Johnson (quarterback) has a Hall Of Fame ring for his time with the Denver Broncos, a 1959-1960 back to back championship when the NMSU Aggies won the Sun Bowl championship 2 years in a row and a Sun Bowl Legends ring he was awarded in 1994.
Roy Gerela (place kicker) has 3 Superbowl rings while playing for the Steelers in 1974, 1975 and 1978.
Roy and Charley both began their College football career at NMSU.
