Got a bun in the oven? You’ll definitely want to check out these two upcoming, family-friendly events.

Hello Baby Fair

Saturday, March 25
9am to 3pm
Downtown Las Cruces Plaza

New Mexico Doulas is proud to present this first annual event featuring more than 14 local businesses showcasing how their products and services support growing families. The event also marks the kickoff of a 6-week diaper drive ending May 6. Diapers can be donated at the Fair, in boxes around town, or on the Race Day. All diapers and any proceeds will benefit Turning Point of Las Cruces via the non-profit organization, No Child Wet Behind.

Enjoy: Two fashion shows with maternity, infant and toddler wear; a bounce house, and music combined with the concurrent weekly Farmers’ Market makes for a full Saturday of fun with family. And, it’s all free to attend. Bring diapers to donate for a chance to win a raffle prize. The more diapers the better!

Folks to Know: New Mexico Doulas, (nmdoulas.com) owned by Carrie Chalverus and Vera Ulibarri, provides labor and postpartum doula support, and childbirth and parenting education classes.
No Child Wet Behind (nochildwetbehind.com) is a national 501c3 non-profit created by the founders of ProDoula (prodoula.com) to raise awareness about diaper need.
Turning Point (pregnancylascruces.com) provides objective, factual medical information to those concerned they may be pregnant.
