Ask and Expert the Wide World of RVs Popular Trendy

What’s popular or trendy in RV-ing these days?
We’re starting to see a lot of families wanting to experience the RV lifestyle. Parents want to take their kids camping and get them away from iPads and cell phones for a while, and an RV offers a fun and comfortable environment to do so. Additionally, a lot of families have begun to use RVs on a daily basis, taking them out to soccer and baseball tournaments for the weekend.

What kind of make, model, and size options are available?
Right now we have the most inventory we’ve had in a number of years, so we offer everything from teardrops (compact campers that can be towed behind a vehicle) and retros, to vintage units, ultralight units, and Four Seasons coaches. We have all classes of motorized coaches, ranging in size from Class A gas and diesel units, these being the largest models; Class B units, these being about the size of a van; and Class C units, which are really popular among families, capable of sleeping several people comfortably.”

How can I make sure that the RV I’m buying is the right one for me?
Something I always tell my clients is, ‘The floor plan has to work for you.’ Factors such as traveling with kids and the type of camping you’re planning on doing will play a role in picking out the perfect RV for you and your family. We have several units that feature large amounts of storage space to transport toys such as motorcycles, razors, and ATVs.

This depends on the type of RV and the location. For owners in our area, we suggest having the roof of your RV inspected every six months, mainly because of how much sun we get around here. Winterizing your vehicle is also just as important, especially given how dry our winters are.

What does the driver of an RV need to consider before getting behind the wheel?
We make sure that the customer is aware of what they are doing, and also that their vehicle is set up properly in the first place. Your safety is our number one concern. Knowing information such as the engine size will also help you be more informed and therefore better equipped to drive your vehicle. Aside from this, anyone can learn to drive an RV.

What if I’m still on the fence about purchasing an RV?
You won’t regret the investment! You can’t put a price on the memories you’re going to make with your family out on the road, and the experiences you’ll have in your retirement are priceless. The people you will meet when traveling from RV park to RV park are always very helpful. You’ll be driving into the lot after a long day on the road and before you get settled you’ll have people waiving you down offering dinner and cocktails. We have a great country, and there are many places to go.”
