Holly Day House
The Artists of Picacho Hills hosts this annual art exhibit and sale featuring painting, basketry, jewelry, quilting, woodworking, photography, metal work, ceramics, and much more.

November 16 – December 3
It’s a Wonderful Life:
Live Radio Play

Adapted from the Franka Capra film, this holiday favorite is performed onstage as a 1940s radio broadcast. Whether you’ve seen the original film a hundred times or never before, this play brings to life a nostalgia for a bygone era and an important reminder during the holiday season that our individual lives have the ability to touch many.
When: Fridays, 7:30pm; Saturdays, 2pm & 7:30pm; Sundays 2pm

November 17 & 18
Potter’s Guild Annual Holiday Sale
Find everything from pottery and sculpture to mosaics, textiles and jewelry for sale at this fun annual event that allows you to buy original art from local artists.
When: Friday, 2pm-6pm;
Saturday, 9am-4pm
Where: Peace Lutheran Church (corner of Missouri and Locust)

November 18 & 19
Homegrown: A New Mexico
Food Show & Gift Market

Food grown in New Mexico is showcased at this 4th annual event with vendors from around the state selling their products as the gift-giving season approaches. Sample salsas, pies, cookies, honey, produce, jerky, candy, tortillas, cheese, and much more.
When: Saturday, 9am-5pm;
Sunday 10am-1pm

December 1 – 3
La Casa Inc.
Holiday Bazaar

Held annually for the past 27 years, this three-day shopping extravaganza offers local art, hand crafted goodies, home baked treats, and raffle prizes.
When: Friday, 4:30pm-7:30pm;
Saturday, 9am-5pm;
Sunday, 10am-4pm
Where: Las Cruces Convention Center

December 1
Old Fashioned Holiday Open House
Beautiful decorations and lights—along with crafts, refreshments, and seasonal music—make this a great event for kids. Be sure to stick around for the main event: Santa Claus arrives on a holiday decorated Burlington Northern Santa Fe locomotive.
When: 5pm-8pm

December 2
Santa Claus Run
Join in the fun as hundreds of Santas run the streets of Las Cruces. Participants receive a race bib, beard, hat, and long sleeve shirt! Milk and cookies are served at the halfway point and the real St. Nick will be cheering on runners at the finish line.

December 2
Christmas in Cruces Holiday Festivities
Kick off December at the City of Las Cruces’ annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Festivities will include food trucks, music, and free activities and giveaways for children. Santa will also be making an appearance!

Noche de Luminarias
NMSU Campus Activities hosts this well-attended event full of holiday cheer. Expect refreshments, entertainment, photos with Santa, novelties, games, and plenty of traditional luminarias to stroll through.

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Concert
One of America’s favorite traditions for more than three decades, this popular show is back again with Christmas classics in Mannheim Steamroller’s signature, new-age sound.

Mesilla Christmas Tree Lighting
See the Mesilla Plaza come alive with holiday festivities and knock some shopping off your list; the fun and festive stores Mesilla is known for will be staying open late.

December 10 – 12
Our Lady of Guadalupe Fiesta
Steeped in rich cultural tradition, this sacred, three-day celebration kicks off in the village of Tortugas with a candlelight procession. Festivities with traditional dancing are held throughout the night, followed by a pilgrimage up “A” Mountain.

December 14
Las Cruces Ukes Holiday Concert
The Las Cruces Ukes, with special guests from their Teen and Kids Clubs, will perform holiday favorites, along with other timeless music from across the decades. Sing along, tap your feet, and clap your hands as you get ready for the holidays with ukulele music.
When: 7:30pm-9:30pm

December 15 – 17
The Nutcracker
The Las Cruces Chamber Ballet is continuing their yearly tradition of performing a holiday season must-see: The Nutcracker. The whole family will enjoy this evening of dancing, costumes, and music.

Las Cruces Ukes Holiday Concert
The Las Cruces Ukes, a community group of ukulele enthusiasts, will perform a free holiday concert at the Stuckey Auditorium at Good Samaritan. Bring your family and friends for a fun evening of holiday music along with many other favorite songs.
